P2i's multi-patented liquid repellent technology employs a special pulsed ionised gas (plasma), created within a vacuum chamber, to attach a nanometre-thin polymer layer over the entire surface of a product.

The nano-coating dramatically lowers the surface energy of the product, so that when water and oil come into contact with it, they form beads and simply roll off. This is achieved without changing the look or feel of the treated product.

Using P2i technology can revolutionise the performance of components and complete products by protecting them from the effects of water and all other liquids – adding significant value for manufacturers.
